After an e-mail i sent asking for POS or design work they sent me a small collection of POS stuff. They sent 5 different POS posters each with a different audience and context. I think i might adjust the POS material that i was going to produce and possibly use the same context and audience of the existing material. I don't think that the images on them aren't very interesting to look at and they seem a bit plain.

The top one is the current design style for the packaging. I don't think the canister it self i will change but feel that the design needs changing. I feel aspects of it are over done and feel that the shiny effects aren't completely necessarily.

There is a significant difference in styles from the classic designs to the modern designs. I might consider something which plays on the heritage of the brand.

Found this photographer whilst looking through behance. I like the contrast on these as i feel that it works well. but not sure on the long exposure of the photos becuase i like how the water has turned out really smooth and not sure the clouds have come out as well as the rest of the photos in some.

I feel I've started to get more influenced by design which seem to have a retro style to it but more with a modern perspective. Mike Harrison's style also seems to incorporate some more drawn parts to the work which is something i want to try to do with my own work and almost where i want to progress to.

I like how simple these are kept without losing any of the idea. I want my work be sort of going in this direction where its less crowded and focuses just on the concept.
